I think the bluebird is my favorite songbird. Even though the bluebird is the state bird of Missouri, where I'm from, I seldom see them there. This image was taken one morning when my lovely bride and I were shooting in Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee. He just posed for me for about ten minutes as if making up for all the times his distant relatives had snubbed me. Such a kind thoughtful little guy!
